Tahota Law Firm is crowned on China IP Rankings 2019 of 2019 ALB China

On May 20, 2019, the world-renowned legal media Asian Legal Business (ALB) had issued China IP Rankings 2019. Among the rankings of China-funded firms in China Mainland in the two sections- patents, trademarks/copyrights, Tahota Law Firm was on the list of successful candidates. Tahota was selected into the rankings for five consecutive years.

On Mar. 14, 2019, Xinjiang Financial Investment Co., Ltd.(“Xinjiang Financial Investment”) issued Reg S 3-year USD bonds with a value of 200 million dollars in Hong Kong successfully and the issuance was subject to British laws. After the bonds were issued, they were listed and exchanged on Hong Kong Stock Exchange on Mar. 22, 2019.

Recently, Qingling Isuzu(Chongqing) Engine Co., Ltd.( hereinafter referred to as “QIEC”) and Isuzu Qingling(Chongqing) Auto Parts Co. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “IQAC”), two core subsidiaries established by ISUZU Motors Company (Tokyo stock exchange code: 7202, hereinafter referred to as “ISUZU”) and Qingling Motors Co., Ltd. (Hong Kong stock exchange code: 01122, hereinafter referred to as “Qingling Shares”) in Chongqing, completed their absorption-type merger (hereinafter referred to as “Merger of the Two Companies”). More than 200 people attended the signing ceremony, including leaders of Chongqing SASAC, Business Commission, Commission of Economy and Information Technology and Jiulongpo district government, leaders and staff representatives of Qingling and Isuzu company, and media representatives.

Recently, Tahota Law Firm helped Shandong Commercial Group Co., Ltd. issue Reg S 3-year USD bonds with a value of 120 million dollars in Hong Kong successfully. After the bonds were issued, they were listed on Hong Kong Stock Exchange and subject to British laws. This is the first time for Shandong Commercial Group Co., Ltd. to issue foreign bonds, and the first time to issue foreign bonds directly.
